Filler or PDO thread lift? (Photo)

most of my younger clients do fillers for contourin and threads yearly for lifting with morpheus every 2-3 months.

most of my younger patients do buccal fat pad reduction, facetite/liposuction of the neck, and fillers to chin/cheeks/jawline/temples,  to give them a more chiseled face.  see my IG and links. at home derma-rolling should be started to Improve texture and tone and tightening along jawline (see link where we have a recommended daily skincare and weekly MTS + anteageMD derma-rolling protocol).

For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include:

1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face
2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping.
3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender
4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined

most of my younger patients consider...
5. deep microneelding RF like morpheus every 2-3 months forever to further improvement tightening
6. early face/neck lift if you want a really tight contour and the most extreme improvement in jawline and neck shaping
7. threads, PDO or Instalift, after neck surgery/facetite to further improve the outcomes and give them long term collagen production and shaping
8. Thermage (radio frequency heating) and Ultherapy (ultrasound muscle tightening) yearly to prevent sagging in the future

Hi @Neat863705. Thank you for sharing your photos. There is no sagging skin to need a thread lift. If you would like more definition to your cheeks , I recommend filler to enhance your facial contours.

A thread lift is primarily indicated for skin laxity and early jowl formation, which you do not have. It is possible a bit of filler in the cheeks would provide you the enhancement you want. However, you have a very nice facial contour, so make sure you work with a qualified, experienced injector who understands less is more in your case.

First, let me say, that, at least from the photos, you do not appear to need any work at this time. And unless an in-person examination reveals something different from what is seen in the photos, you appear to have a beautiful and properly proportioned face. Just for general information, I gave up threads years ago, since the results do not last as long as promised and a recent paper reported an unacceptably high rate of adverse reactions to them. On the other hand, fillers, particularly of the hyaluronic acid-based variety would, in my opinion, be a far better route to go. For now, relax. Best of luck.

An in person examination would certainly be needed because your photos demonstrate that you have a beautiful face, wonderful features and I do not see any need to do anything at this time! PDO Thread Lift can be a nice option for individuals who require more than fillers, and are most effective in the mid face region to combat early signs of aging like jowl formation and deepening nasolabial folds. They can be an effective bridge between fillers and mini facelift. However in your case I do not see the need for fillers or thread lift. Save your money and enjoy life!

Your photos show a beautifully contoured face. There is no sagging skin apparent to indicate a thread lift. If you would like more definition to your cheeks you could consider filler to naturally enhance your facial contours.

From these 2 photos I agree with what has been said. Nature has been kind to you and I see nothing requiring correction. There is no sagging for the PDO threads to lift. You have lovely cheeks already. A small amount of filler can add contouring. If you want more drama to your already lovely almond-shaped eyes you can add lashes or a get touch of Botox to your lower lids to give them a wider appearance. Good luck.

A formal consultation is necessary but based on the photos, I would recommends fillers for midface apples.
1-2 syringes may be sufficient to maintain fresh look.

I don’t see indications for either based on the photo, although you may be covering any issues with makeup. An in person consultation may better elucidate any issues.
