Can I drink from a straw after Rhinoplasty?

Dear ficullen, Whether you drink with a straw or not, it shouldn't effect your surgical outcome. We do recommend limited movement of your mouth, so minimal talking/laughing and cutting food into bite size pieces.. Whatever works for you should be fine! Good luck!

You can eat or drink pretty much anything. Whether not you use a straw will have no effect on the final outcome.

Hello. It doesn't matter what you use to eat or drink, so long as you do not touch your nose or your cast/dressing.

You can drink with a straw, with a cup, just as long as you do not bump your nose ( with the cup) in the process.

It is safe to drink from a straw after rhinoplsaty; however, using a straw after rhinoplasty can feel strange as the upper lip sometimes feels temporarily different.Best of luck with your recovery.

As long as you don't bump your nose, it doesn't matter what you eat or drink.  Drinking out of a straw is fine.
