I have had an open rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago and have hardly taken any pain killers after surgery. It's not because there was no pain at all but I could manage without...I have a good pain trash hold. I had to take antibiotics because of an infection revealed when my cast came off. Today is exactly 3 weeks post op and I am feeling a lot of pain on my bridge. Yesterday for the first time I had pain killers and I am resisting today...but in pain. Is it normal?

It would be helpful to clean your nose with water and soap, but generally there is no need to remove or trim the hair, as this is routinely done by the surgeon at the very beginning of the procedure. Good luck!
