Can dermarollers/microneedles help with leftover scars during (or after) tattoo removal? (Photo)

I'm having a tattoo removed with Enlighten. The ink is fading but I'm left with raised scars. I tried silicon gel but either it's not working at all or the progress is so slow I can't tell. I've been massaging as of recently but I've read it doesn't really work for old scars (?) I've seen people mention microneedling/dermarollers (like .3mm that you'd find on Amazon) for scars. Could that help? If so can I go ahead and start or should I wait til all the ink is gone?

Hi @Rlgra55. You can ask your provider to avoid the nose. However, microneedling is great to reduce pore size around the nose. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!
