Can you skip the nose when having microneedling?

Yes, you can ask to not have microneedling performed on your nose. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. We do treatments every 3-6 weeks. Best, Dr. Emer

Microneedling on the nose should not cause any damage to the underlying structure, but if a patient is concerned about any particular area, that area can be skipped during the treatment.Be sure to see an expert physician who specializes in facial aesthetic treatments for any procedures.All the best,

Hi Nunose15, Thank you for your question. It is safe to microneedle along the bridge and nose area but you can absolutely ask the Dr or Esthetician to avoid it if that makes you more comfortable. Microneedling of the nose is safe, but you can skip this area if you want to. Microneedling is a helpful technique of gentle collagen induction therapy for the face.   It would be OK to treat all areas while avoiding the nose if that is your desire.  Mild to more aggressive techniques can be employed depending on the area of the face as well as what the clinical goals are of the treatment.I hope this is helpful.Steven L. You may defintely skip treatment of the nose.  I typically use more superficial parameters for the nose and forehead to minimize discomfort.  Consult with an experienced physician to properly address your concerns.

Microneedling can be safely performed on the nose. I usually use a lower (more superficial) setting on the bridge of the nose because deeper settings in this area can cause bruising. The microneedling helps a lot with pores on the nose. Of course, the nose could be avoided during the treatment as well if that makes you feel more comfortable.
