Can you skip the nose when having microneedling?

I have concerns about the upcoming micro needling on my face, in particular though for my nose. I bumped my nose several years ago and it moved my nose around some. It finally looked better after a good while. . Anyway, can micro needling cause damage to bridge or other delicate parts of my nose and can I just ask to not do my nose?

Yes, you can ask to not have microneedling performed on your nose. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. We do treatments every 3-6 weeks. Best, Dr. Emer

Microneedling on the nose should not cause any damage to the underlying structure, but if a patient is concerned about any particular area, that area can be skipped during the treatment.Be sure to see an expert physician who specializes in facial aesthetic treatments for any procedures.All the best,

Hi Nunose15, Thank you for your question. It is safe to microneedle along the bridge and nose area but you can absolutely ask the Dr or Esthetician to avoid it if that makes you more comfortable. Microneedling will improve the skin on the nose and will not cause damage to your nose. You can avoid the nose if it a concern of yours.I would recommend discussing with your provider prior to your treatment. You can always treat the area on a lighter setting.Best to you,
