Thank you for your question. If you have an urgent concern regarding your recent breast augmentation, it would be important for you to follow up with your operating surgeon for a thorough evaluation.
If you are having concerns about your breast augmentation, you should call your surgeon. This is particularly important since you indicate that your concern is "urgent". Your surgeon should be available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Thank you for your question. You are still early in the post-operative period. It typically takes 3 - 6 months for the swelling to subside and and implants to settle into proper position. Please discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon. Also, make sure you follow all of your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions regarding level of physical activity and use of a support bra. Hope this helps and good luck with your recovery.
Congratulations on undergoing a breast augmentation! Now the fun part...allowing your body to heal. As the swelling resolves, your breasts will soften. In 6 weeks, you will see a big difference but remember that it takes a good 4-6 months for you to see your final results. Good luck!

You are only 4 days post op and you do have swelling. The tissues around the implants need to relax and the swelling to subside. Normally it takes 6 to 8 months to appreciate your final result. I would stay in touch with your surgeon, and follow their instructions to maximize your recovery and your result.

Please relax and giving herself time and focus on breast implant displacement exercises.
I would encourage you to seek an in person consultation and exam with your plastic surgeon or other board certified plastic surgeon. There are a number of things that could be causing your discomfort. The most common issue is capsular contracture or hardening of the scar tissue surrounding the...
Most patients are candidates for periareola incision for breast augmentation especially if the surgeon is using the Keller funnel. The funnel allows the placement of silicone implants through a small incision with minimal trauma to both the implant and the incision.
Thank you for the question. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. For example, I do not think that the generalizations of "200 cc equates to 1 cup" hold any validity or are helpful in any specific or pr...
