Assuming you did not have liposuction of the flanks with your tummy tuck, it is safe to do cool sculpting any time in my opinion. If you see a Plastic Surgeon for cool sculpting, you will always be safe, because the surgeon has all the tools to treat your problem the most effectively and economically. Best of luck to you!
Most surgeons will perform some liposuction along with the tummy tuck. If you had liposuction to the flanks at the same time, I would wait at least 6 months because the full effects of the lipo may take time to be seen. You may find that you do not need the Coolsculpting after all.
Hi. You should not have any problems at 3 months, especially if your healing is progressing without any issues, and assuming you didn't have any liposuction of the flanks during your tuck. Enjoy your results!
Hi sammiestar,Sometimes we wait a bit longer but if your doctor felt it was fine to do it three months post. op., then it's fine. CoolSculpting would result to 20-30% fat loss over the affected area. This is a great sculpting procedure to give you a more contoured flank after your tummy tuck. All the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
There have been cases of non-responders, patient that got no results. It is a rare complication. If you had it done by a nurse at a board certified plastic surgeon's office they may do liposuction to the area and deduct what you have already paid from your cost.
Thank you for your question. I would not worry as the wipes help to eliminate any oils from the skin. As long as the gel pad was used prior to treatment you will be fine. However, it is always best to address any concerns you may have with your physician. Best of Luck!
I think it is reasonable to start Neurontin ahead of the pain. The medication is safe. I have not seen it take days to work, but if you did experience that, I think you could give a call to the place you got treated and see if they can do that for you! Best wishes, Dr. Sawyer
The CoolSculpting process works to effectively reduce fat. The natural elasticity of skin means there should be no looseness following treatment because skin in the area targeted will shrink down once the fat is removed. The treatment will not affect pre-existing loose skin — only areas of...
You certainly can go ahead and get CoolSculpting on your thighs, as it will not adversely affect your hip bones. However, you mention that you will soon be having a hip replacement surgery. I would wait to have the CoolSculpting done until after you’ve fully recovered from your hip replacement. ...
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can still have Coolsculpting. However, the applicators cannot be placed in the area of a hernia. You will need to make your treating physician aware of a hernia so proper care is taken. Please make sure you are seeing an expert. Best of Luck
