Yeah long story short. I had a rhinoplasty, and I have cartilage sticking out through my nose inside my nostrils. I can feel it and even see it. It's white and it's definitely there. It's been 3 months since my rhino. What do I do? Why does this happen? Is it my surgeons fault?
Answer: 3 months post rhinoplasty - Cartilage sticking out Hi, and thank you for your question. I'm sorry that you're experiencing problems following your rhinoplasty. It's impossible to tell what the issue is without an examination, and so I strongly suggest that you meet with your surgeon who will be able to examine you and offer a plan going forward, if appropriate. Wishing you all the best.

Answer: Visible cartilage after rhinoplasty Thanks for your question. This is definitely not ideal and needs to be followed up properly. There are multiple reasons for palpable or visible cartilage after rhinoplasty but all of them can and should be addressed. If this is present at this point it will likely not resolve on its own and should be revised after everything has completely healed. This should be assessed by the original surgeon As only they are the one that knows exactly where cartilage has been removed and or placed. If you or they are uncomfortable with revision surgery, this should be reassessed by a surgeon familiar with secondary rhinoplasty surgery.
