Should I avoid second-hand smoke exposure? I’m 12 days out from open Rhinoplasty surgery.

It is best to avoid second hand smoke for a month after a rhinoplasty as it can increase congestion, dryness or lead to coughing. That can effect the healing process. It is not likely to cause any drastic problems but still best to stay away. RegardsDr. Janjua

Second hand smoke is certainly not good for your tissues, especially since you just had rhinoplasty.  Check with your surgeon.

Second hand smoke is not good for wound healing and you are still in the early phases of healing.....
