Dear doctors I had rhnoplsty 16 months ago. It ws a big one I hve a very wide nose + vry thick skin. My bones where broken my nose was shaved down. First it was good but I noticed it looked croocked. my nose was never crkd and upturned. My surgeon it will go away in years. It improved but very little and very slowly. I need to knw wht it is and how can I get rid of it or at least make it heal faster. (I tape my nose to hide it)( I still have hard stiffness on the sides of my nose) Kind regards

You don't appear to have a rhinophyma. Rhinophyma is usually seen in older men and can be treated surgically with great results. You may, however, have some rosacea and large pores. I would recommend that you see a dermatologist for that. Good luck!
You can certainly take down some of the nasal bridge and project the tip more to give a sloped appearance. However, it is important to keep a natural appearance and not overdo things. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.
When a truly excellent surgeon has a dissatisfied patient, it's almost always because the patient achieved less improvement than she and the surgeon were hoping for. It's just about never the case that something went off the rails and the nose looks completely wrong.
