I am interested in the bodytite procedure, but it's my understanding you must get bodytite in combination with lipo. Can Bodytite give results if done by itself? Does doing Bodytite without lipo minimize the skin tightening effects?
Answer: Does BodyTite have to performed with Lipo? Bodytite does not require liposuction, it's usually used in conjunction to offset the loose skin that liposuction may leave behind. When there are fatty areas, liposuction can remove the fat and Bodytite will tighten any skin laxity. For best results I would recommend you consult with a Board-certified plastic surgeon. Answer: Does BodyTite have to performed with Lipo? Body Tite does not has to be performed with Liposuction. Body Tite is a minimally invasive body contouring procedure. It consists of a technological procedure combination of radiofrequency assisted with lipolysis (RFAL). At times a combination of liposuction and Body Tite could be recommended depending on the amount of fat that will need to be suctioned. Consider scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced board-certified surgeon to review all your options.

Answer: BodyTite and Liposuction Bodytite is a radio-frequency treatment which serves to tighten skin. This accomplished by subdermal heating of the collagen fibers which can cause tightening as well as stimulate fibroblast activity for collagen deposition. This can be combined with liposuction (but does not necessarily need to be). The fat removal component is no different than traditional liposuction. For those patients with excess fat in the absence of skin laxity Bodytite does not necessarily hold an advantage over more traditional liposuction. However, in patients with laxity or in whom there is a concern for worsening laxity post liposuction, a radio-frequency tightening will help. With regards to your specific question, aspiration (not necessarily liposuction) is a component of every BodyTite procedure although the aims will differ. In those patients seeking only tightening, liposuction will be employed not for the purposes of fat removal but to remove excess heated fluid in order to better to limit tissue exposure (aspiration). However, for those who would benefit from further contouring more aggressive liposuction can be performed post tightening. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: BodyTite with Liposuction BodyTite is a great procedure to tighten skin and improve the contour of different areas of the body. It uses radiofrequency to heat the skin tissues and promote the contraction of the skin; during this process a small amount of fat becomes melted and must be suctioned out through liposuction, but the procedure can be done without a large amount of liposuction intended to reduce the fat in the area. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine if you are a good candidate for this procedure.
