The reviews on here have helped me so much, I wanted to submit mine! OK, so I had a very hard time, putting on fat… I was very slender, so my results are not dramatic, which I knew going in. I wanted to reshape my body though, I had a very deep hip dips, and kind of a flat butt. I had some fat on my flanks, a little on my abdomen, and a little on my arms. Dr. Hernandez was realistic, and said I would not be able to add much to the booty… It was mostly go into my very deep hip dips. I also knew I would not get around and hips… But at least not have what I felt like we’re holes there! The whole procedure was great, I was awake, and on lots of drugs. Honestly… I felt like I was to awake lol I would’ve liked to have been a little more drugged up and happy, I felt quite aware of what was going on, although I was in no pain. The only part that hurts like heck is when they are numbing your stomach… Those needles are so long and deep and that was really difficult. But I did have the laughing gas, which I used a lot. It also heard a little at the end when they were adding fat, but other than that I was in no pain. She did phase her, Lipo, and I feel like she was so delicate and gentle, because Healing has been amazing. I was up and about that night, and even drove myself the hour back to my follow up the next day. She was a super gentle and precise. So far, I’m loving the results, I just hope I retain a lot of the fat, since I need it lol I think she ended up having 290 cc to add to each hip dip, and was able to add a little to the back of the booty too. So all this to say, if you are fairly skinny, you’re not gonna have dramatic results, but if you want a little body shaping, and are willing to invest the money and recovery time, then it’s worth it. The hardest part is definitely sleeping on my stomach, I hate doing that lol.
My experience was wonderful. I am beyond happy with the results! The doctor was super informative and personable. Love her and will be back. For too long, my smile lines have bothered me. I am only 27, yet felt I looked waaaay older. Dr. Hernandez did not make me feel any more self conscious but comfortable.
I have deflated breasts from weight loss (32 yrs old, 5'6, went from 170 to 125 pounds). I don't honestly know my breast size, since I wear size small yoga bras/bralettes. I know my ribs are 34" around, and I would guess I'm a large A... maybe a B if it was a push up.I came to Dr Hernandez looking for a laser breast lift, but instead, she recommended Renuva as a non invasive small augmentation. My nipples are not pointed downwards (ptosis), I simply don't have enough fat to fill out my breasts. She gave me three shots of renuva to each breast (1.5 cc per shot). My main concern was being able to conceal this from my husband while I was healing. The cool thing about renuva is that there are no obvious results right away. I wanted to blame my larger breasts on weight gain (which I'm actively trying to do). I've posted pics of 4 hours after injection, 24 hours, and 72 hours. I bruise easily, and my bruises take a long time to heal. The worst part was the anesthetic, but while it pinched and stung, it wasn't that bad (and I HATE needles). I didn't feel much during the procedure. The doctor was informational, pleasant, and attentive. The bruising was minimal, as you can see. The hard part is hiding the injection punctures. I used the office samples of silicone scar cream, foundation, and menstruation cramps as an excuse to remain clothed at bedtime. I leave in 3 days for a week long visit to my sister, where I will keep my injection sites medicated. I will also be taking Lysene and vitamin C to promote skin healing. As you can see, there is no obvious inflation of my breasts yet, and I am healing rather quickly. I will update this post at the 3 month Renuva waiting period (mid November 2020) with my augmentation results! Updated on 2 Sep 2020: Still some minor bruising, but what is most visible are purple pinprick marks at the injection sites. A little bit of makeup hides them. I haven't noticed much difference in volume.... I THINK I see a difference, but it could be in my head at this point. I've been applying a heat pack whenever I think about it (to increase circulation to the area), and I massage my breasts when I'm in the car or in the bathroom. I really want this $5,000 procedure to be WORTH $5,000. Updated on 22 Nov 2020: Here I am, three months later, and incredibly dissatisfied with my Renuva breast "augmentation". Dr Hernandez told me that these three vials would add the plumping on the tops of my breasts that I was looking for. I have a follow up with her soon. We will see what sort of satisfaction service she will provide. For $5,000, it would have been smarter to go with actual implants... and have a serious talk with hubby about "My body, My choice". I wanted to add maybe HALF of a cup size... again, just enough to give me a little fill on top. Extremely disappointed. Updated on 10 Dec 2020: It has been 4 months since my Renuva injection. I have not seen any results, and my photos also undeniably show that. I spoke with Dr. Hernandez about my lack of results. She said that I must be "non responsive" to Renuva. Fair enough. I am pretty skinny and have a hard time keeping weight on. Maybe if I can gain weight the Renuva will be able to plump up? I don't know. She offered me a full refund (and said they would email their Renuva rep for a refund). The Renuva rep declined the refund, and so Dr. Hernandez is refunding me out of her own pocket. I am so grateful that she refunded me, and if I have anything else that I want to get done, she certainly has my business. I appreciate a doctor that can admit no results and take ownership of what they are offering.
Our hav heard it a million times. Even at my thinnest I still have a double chin. That said, I am not at my target wait, but my face looks really out of proportion. I decided to have chin lipo. I was supposed to have it a few years back when I had full body lipo. But I had a swollen lymph node the doctor did not like. It turns out that is all it is. So my current doctor moved ahead. I scheduled my surgery for February 2020. hoped to hav it sooner as I was trying to get it before an event, the doctor was booked and so was I. It was an in office procedure I picked p a prescription. That they were going to give me right before surgery. I misunderstood and took the pill right before I walked in. Which meant they had to rush a bit. There were some parts of the surgery that were painful like around my ears, but overall not the worst. I didn't realize how much work lipo is for the doctor!!! Boy being up and seeing how much working was made me understand why they make what they make.not to mention the issue of keeping your patient safe and happy. Thee was very little pain until night when all the meds wore off.I woke up feeling like my face was on fire. I took some meds and 15 minutes later was back to sleep. Today, there is still some discomfort. Chewing is not fun. So trying to eat soft foods. I had to take off the bandages and OMG!!! I am already floored and I am very swollen. My chin was really bad. It took a long time to get it all and I am reaping the rewards of the doctors hard work already! The difference is unreal!! She also lipo'd my neck. I am going to return next week for some fillers. I had thought about doing them the same day, but decided to wait until spring break. I do wish I had just done it at the same time.
So I’ve been wanting to try something (non invasive) to help smooth the back of the legs and the ripples from my cellulite. I’m hoping this will help. I know it won’t correct the cellulite 100% but I’m hoping that it will smooth the skin to give a tighter appearance. Dr. is suggesting 3 separate treatments to see improvement. Updated on 2 Oct 2019: Not sure if I notice any difference. Provider says up to 3 months before final results will be seen. Trying to be patient. Area treated was from below butt (banana roll) down to back of knees. Trying to decide what’s next.. either ProFound or Bodytite are my thoughts. Updated on 29 Oct 2019: No real change. It’s been a little over a month now. Considering Profound RF for 2nd treatment since it’s a 1 time treatment and needles penetrate a little further. Will decide in December at follow up if I’ll do another Morpheus8 or change to Profound RF with another provider. Updated on 3 Mar 2020: I decided to go ahead and switch to a Profound RF treatment instead of anymore Morpheus8. The needles penetrate deeper with Profound RF machine and results I have seen are better. Had procedure 2/28/2020. I posted a separate review if you are interested in following my progress.
I had a great session. Dr. Hernandez explained all my questions. I had so many but the doc was very patient with me and answered all my questions with great detail. The procedure took about 1 1/2 hours and when it was over I was dressed with a special spandex top to help keep everything in its place. I was surprised that I had zero pain after the surgery and that I was free to go home that very same day. The reason I chose to undergo this procedure was because of the tightening benefits and I also liked it when Dr. Hernandez told me my results would look best within a year after the procedure. If you are looking to achieve the best results look no further because this doc is top notch. I am thankful that I chose her above all others and that I am now enjoying the results.
I am 56 and was concerned about the deep wrinkles and drooping jowls I saw when I looked in the mirror. I am just over 2 months out from the Morpheus8 procedure and couldn’t be happier with my results. Dr. Hernandez and her staff are wonderful. Updated on 27 Sep 2019: It has been just over three months since my procedure and I couldn’t be happier. My jowls no longer sag. I feel my face looks more youthful. I am 56 years old and am told I look much younger. I highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Hernandez. Updated on 11 Oct 2019: I was asked to post a pre op pic. I’ve posted one from about 7 months ago and a current pic. I am still happy and feel my results continue to improve. If you are looking for a minimally invasive procedure with noticeable results, look into it.
From the start, the experience was very pleasant, inviting and professional. Wait time was very minimal. I received personal and professional attention prior, during and after the procedure. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I am extremely pleased with the procedure. I had always been very subconscious about my cellulite. I would always dark colored bottoms to hide it or long blouses to help cover my bottom. I am now comfortable wearing lighter colored clothing and can actually buy shirts that don't reach my bottom. It really helped boost my self- confidence over all. Best Decision!
My first visit was this past summer (2018) for lip fillers (Juvederm Ultra XC; along with Botox for other areas of my face). I have to admit I was a lil nervous being that it was my first procedure with a new doctor in San Antonio. Dr. Hernandez is now my go-to for everything cosmetic. I was overly satisfied with my results - actually the end result was better than my primary doc in Houston. Dr. Hernandez took her time and thoroughly massaged each area after each poke to allow the filler to even out. I know this is to be expected from doctors but her technique was unique and I believe that allowed me to get the best results. It’s been six months and my lips still look as full as the first day. The nurses and staff were very professional and knowledgeable and the office is BEAUTIFUL.
One of the treatments that Dr. Liz has administered to me is Bellafill product!! Dr. Liz explained treatment and she was super cautious at distributing product throughout areas. My results are amazing! I can’t express enough how much the results from product have improved my face already and my Confidence!!! I strongly recommend Dr.Liz and Bellafill.
A tear trough filler could help temporarily. Most fillers last up to a year or there is a collagen filler called Bellafill that last up to 5 years. If you are looking to a permanent solution then AccuTite would be the best option. AccuTite is an in-office, minimally invasive procedure, using radio-frequency to tighten and melt fat. Results can been seen immediately, with best results noticeable after 6 weeks and continuing up to 12 months.
Morpheus8, Farctional RF energy is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles and rebuild collagen. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no patient downtime.
We love to show our patient after their HydraFacial treatment "The Junk Jar". The amount of white and black heads it collects is astonishing. It is the perfect treatment for all skin types.
Great question and thank you for providing a photo. Coolsculpting is used to freeze and remove fat permanently without down time however this treatment will not tighten or firm the skin in any way. I would recommend BodyTite. This is a minimally invasive procedure which uses radio-frequency to stimulate collagen & elastin growth which tightens and firms the skin while melting any excess fat to improve your results. This can be done in office and most patients can return to work either after a weekend recovery or, in some cases, the following day!
