I've had three rounds of the dissolving agent and my lips are not quite back to baseline yet after two years. They don't look bad but would like to have them back to my "virgin" lip border. I was told by my plastic surgeon that juvederm is temporary and ALL results would revert back to baseline. Then my dermatologist says that you always have collagen formation (scar tissue) as a result of filler placed in the border. I want my lips back My friend has the same exact problem. What can I do? You would get a nice result with half a syringe. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers.
