Can Juvederm cause long-term hyperpigmentation?

I had juvederm in the tear trough 2 months ago for under eye but now I'm left with bluish/purplish/ brownish discoloration . could hyper pigmentation be a side effect of juvederm ?

1) juvederm is not a good filler for under the eyes2) you likely have Tyndall effect from badly injected fillers and this needs to be reversed3) the darkness needs hyaluronidase and RF treatments like Venus legacy to get improvement4) cosmelan peel will help the hyper pigmentation unrelated to the fillerBest, Dr. Emer.

This is difficult to answer without an exam. Could be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, hemosiderin staining, tyndall effect, etc. I would recommend an in-person evaluation with an experienced physician injector. Best wishes.
