this is bad placed fillers and a bad filler to put into that area, please reverse with hyaluronidase. Best, Dr. Emer.
If the discoloration was not evident before injection with Juvederm for the tear trough, you have superficial hyaluronic acid (HA) filler causing a Tyndall effect. Either the filler was improperly placed, the wrong filler was used, or some of the filler migrated superficially due to trauma or edema.
Good question. I prefer to use Restylane in the tear troughs as this doesn't typically cause the Tyndall effect (the blue hue that you are experiencing with the Juvederm). I would recommend dissolving with hyaluronidase. Please seek out an experienced injector for this area. Good Luck!
I avoid juvederm in the tear trough due to its tendency of adding a blue tint to the skin (called the tyndall effect). The color will go away once the filler is dissolved with an enzyme injection called hyaluronidase. This is quickly done with a single injection in the office. Hope this helps!Johnson C. It appears likely that the Juvederm injections caused the Tyndall effect under your eyes which made it bluish in color. You may need to have the filler dissolved to have the pigmentation removed with Hyaluronidase. Please consult an expert in facial cosmetic injections for the best results. Belotero is far less likely to have the Tyndall effect under the eyes. Best, Dr. Green

Most likely what you have is what has received the name Tyndall effect. In my opinion Juvederm or any other hyaluronic acid should not be injected into the Tera trough area unless the person has very thick skin and some subcutaneous fat. In my opinion only fat should be injected into the tear trough area. You would be served best to follow up with your injector physician and have the hyaluronidase used to dissolve some of the product. Good luck from New York City
More info needed, it could be the Tyndall effect or a resolving bruise. Your specialist injector will know and can guide you accordingly. Dr Isobel Walker, Brisbane. Australia.
This is difficult to answer without an exam. Could be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, hemosiderin staining, tyndall effect, etc. I would recommend an in-person evaluation with an experienced physician injector.
Thank you for your question. You should absolutely not have any injections while having a shingle outbreak. Best of luck.
Having a cigarette after lip augmentation should not cause a lip bump. One should give approximately 10 to 14 days after the treatment. If the bump does not disappear, one should have a follow up with their treating physician.
