Could I get anesthesia awareness during rhinoplasty?

So today I was searching about anesthesia awareness it just freaked me out. There are various types of syndrome like having dream during surgery feeling pain etc. 2 years back I had a surgery on my left elbow, during the surgery I saw a dream though I didn't feel any pain. My mom was assistant doc. During that surgery after waking up I told her abt this but she laughed & didn't believe. I don't know whether I'm having this prob or not, but I'm asking because I'm abt to get rhinoplasty surgery. SCARED

The vast majority of rhinoplasty surgery nowadays is carried out under what is called a total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA).  During this, patients are not paralysed or ventilated but I simply kept asleep with an infusion of anaesthetic agent in through an intravenous line. This means that it is impossible for a patient to be awake and aware but unable to move. You should discuss the type of anaesthetic that would be used in your rhinoplasty and your surgeon should be able to reassure you that the chances of awareness are infinitesimally small.

In our practice, we perform all rhinoplasty procedures under general anesthesia by a board-certified physician anesthesiologist for patient safety and comfort. There is no conscious awareness or dreaming that occurs during the procedure.
