How soon after rhinoplasty can nasolabial folds be injected?

I had a open rhinoplasty recently & the swelling is average to good, but my nose is slightly assymetrical in projection, & probably will stay that way. The left side of the nose is heavier & that side of the face is naturally droopier, making the lines on that side deeper as well. This has gotten worse with age. How soon after rhinoplasty would it be safe to have those lines softened with fillers, & will it make my nose appear larger? Is there any risk of interfering with proper healing?

you for your question.  It is possible
for some swelling after a rhinoplasty to affect the nasolabial lines, but most
(not all) of the swelling for a rhinoplasty should be resolved at one month
after the surgery.  Using filler to
soften the nasolabial lines at this time should be fine.  It should not make your nose appear larger
nor should it interfere with your healing.  Best wishes!

Hello irsi,After rhinoplasty, it should be safe to have nasolabial fold injections, and it should not interfere with the healing process after rhinoplasty. The only exception might be if your nostrils were modified through the use of incisions since these incisions would be in close proximity to the injection site. First, swelling post Rhino can be present for several months (truly up to a year), so don't be discouraged about the appearance of your nose, it may get better as the swelling fade. Fillers injections in your NLF can be performed at any time, it should not interfere with the healing process.
