I have a nose full of hard dried blood clots. I cleaned the front of my nostrils, and looking at me directly you wouldn't be able to see any blood clots within my nose. But I feel them all in there! I use saline spray a few x/day, and i do use the ointment but I hate using it bc it's hard to breathe with it in your nose. I occasionally pick at some of the dried blood with a tweezer (*very gently though. It's like playing Operation! I try not to touch the sides or move my nose). that is okay?

Yes, your information and the x-rays indicate that you almost certainly fractured your nose when you fell as a child. In general, a significant nose bleed after a nose injury indicates damage to the bone or cartilage.Always consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best wishes.

What you are going through must be very frustrating especially with the repeated need for surgery. Normally, it is recommended for a patient to wait a year before attempting another well planned and executed repair in your situation. The reason being is that tissue...
At 6months post-op, your nose is already almost completely healed, and it's strength is already almost the same as a nose which had not undergone surgery before. The absence of bleeding also signifies that the accident did not warrant any damage that may cause a change in the shape of your nose.
