Dr. G is amazing. Because of fat loss from Thermage I was forced to look at options to help with lower facial laxity. After hearing about Dr G. I booked a consultation, Dr G. really took his time assessing my issue, answering my concerns and coming up a plan that would help me regain my skin firmness. He then did a lower face lift almost 15 years ago and I still get compliments. So natural and fresh. In order to replace the fat loss on my cheek's I opted for Radiesse. Again, his results are so natural with little or no bruising. About 5 years ago I moved to another state and have traveled to see Dr.G. for a non optional, very medical, skin issue. In the state I currently live in I have tried other doctors for fillers, but NONE have Dr. Gaboriau's touch
I had surgery for the removal of a basal cell carcinoma and further treatment for the removal of pre-cancerous facial cells. From the very first, I was completely informed of all the facts and procedures to be performed. The expertise of Dr Garobiau and his staff are evident in the remarkable outcome of my treatment. I can not say enough about this surgeon and his staff.
Dr. Gaboriau has been my doctor for fillers and botox for years. He does an amazing job. I have referred many friends and they all are extremely happy. No cons at all. The outcome has been better than I ever expected. I don't know that botox can actually change your life, but it surely makes you look better.
40, my skin was showing the signs of sun damage and mild rosacea that I could not get rid of with topical creams, and I tried an IPL, which did help, but I was looking for more drastic results. I decided on the Laser peel, and I was awake during the whole procedure, which I would not recommend. The pain during was a little hard to take at times, even with the numbing cream. And I will say also to give yourself a full 7 days recovery time as you will not want to go out in public. It is a bit hard to see your face like that and not panic, but after the first day the scabs start to form and the pain is minimal after that. You will be very red for a month or so, but after that I have to say that I have the best skin I have ever had.
2 years ago, I was introduced to the idea of a upper lip implant after growing tired of injections. I had a very full lower lip but my upper lip had gradually gotten even smaller with age. It is a simple procedure, I was awake the whole time, and was in and out of surgery in a little over an hour. It was very swollen for at least 4 days, so recommmend taking a week off, and the pain was minimal. I used a medium implant, and after the swelling went down completely, I was extremely pleased with the results.
At 40 I found my eyelids were drooping considerably, which is a family trait I was not excited about. The operation was quick and painless, and the recovery under 7 days. I cannot be more pleased with the results, and highly recommend Dr. Gaboriau and his coworkers for their excellent patient care and customer service.
I went to see Dr. Gaboriau for some Botox in October. I was looking tired and strain showed on my face. After the treatment, I had no redness of bruising. Over the next few days, my face looked more relax and people started asking if I went away. I was very pleased with my natural looking results, I look like myself only more rested! We are now in February and I still look great! When the treatment wears off, I will definitively go see Dr. Gaboriau and his staff again.
It may take up to 18 months for the skin to tighten over the muscle. When I do see post op bands, I usually inject them with a Neurotoxin (Dysport is my preferred one). The reason is that I want them to be "relaxed" so the skin retract over them. Unfortunately there are cases where a surgeon has to go back at 1 1/2 to re-tighten those bands. In fact my Surgical consent for Neck lift does have a paragraph addressing the issue of recurrence of bands. Hope it helps.
I would for sure talk to your surgeon. it could be what we call "Bone Callus" and may need to be rasped down. It is quite common. or, if He/She used cartilage graft, the graft could have moved and may need to be removed. Hope it helps.
A CT scan may not visualized a piece of cartilage since it is not "opaque" like bone .The main thing to do is to get the original Op report. It should state how many pieces of cartilages were used. Hope it helps.
this is rhinophyma . 1 of the possible treatment is to use a laser to do a skin resurfacing of the nose. There are different type of lasers. You need to consult with an expert in Lasers.
I would suggest a mini lift to address the skin laxity first . Then after waiting for the swelling to go down, address the loss of volume with either fat grafting or Fillers. Good luck!
