Hello and thank you for your question. The Vampire facial can have potential complications. The Vampire facial involves microneedling and the application of activated platelets (and not pure blood, or other chemical products) on the area treated. The deeper the treatment, the higher the risks for complications. Complications include hyperpigmentaion and infection. Exposure to high temperatures or sunlight before the tissue healed can generate hyperpigmentation. I instruct my patients to wait in average one week post treatment before they resume this kind of exposures.I hope this helps,Oxana Popescu MD
After 12 hours, all the micro channels from the needling should be closed so it should be safe enough to go in a sauna or steam room. The PRP can be washed off your face after a couple hours. Just be aware that you may swell a little more than usual.
I think if you had only a vampire facial then in a couple of days it would be fine to use a sauna, but if you had a vampire facelift as well, i would wait a week or so to make sure you dont get any swelling or bruising!
