Is there risks with the Vampire Facial injections?

What are the risks associated with the Vampire Facial? I know with fillers you need to make sure the injector doesn't hit any veins but this procedure is mainly done by estheticians and nurses.

Keep in mind that the Vampire Facial does not involve injections with fillers.  This treatment involves creating 1000s of microchannels in the surface of your skin and then saturating those channels with platelet rich plasma.The channels are created with a micropen.  The PRP is created by separating the platelet rich portion of your plasma from your blood.  Since this is a wholly natural and DNA based biologic, and not a filler, you will not have any allergy or untoward effect from the treatment.The treatment is performed on the surface of your skin and the micropen depth that I use ranges in depth from 0.5 to 3.0 cm.  Veins lay much deeper in the tissue.  I have not seen any complications or even bruising.  There is a day of "pink" skin but the recovery is swift and the results are stunning!In good health,Ellen Mahony, MD

With any type of procedure there is a certain level of risk involved. There is a possibility of bruising, hematomas, and infection. However, risk is reduced when you select a highly trained provider the procedure is generally very safe.
