Thank you for your question, most patients travel with their boppy pillow's, they are soft doughnut shaped pillows that will help you sit on places for small periods of time, for our patients we regularly make them travel letters directed to the airlines, so they know our patients may need to stand or kneel on the seat for some time after the seat belt can be taken off.Good luck.Salvador Pantoja M.D.
There are several ways to maneuver to preserve optimal outcome in sitting positions. Your surgeon should be able to provide you with these recommendations. Iwould search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel ismost likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds ofthese procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well asbefore and after photos on that surgeon's website.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I recommend my patients to wait at least 10 days before flying back to home, and you should not sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
I prefer that patients wait a good two weeks to avoid sitting on their buttocks for any length of time. I think that you are better off doing it locally.
Dear brwnskin,In short, you won't! I don't allow my patients to sit for 2 full weeks after a BBL. This is one of the problems with traveling outside of your state for BBL surgery. Another problem is the increased risk of developing blood clots in your legs if flying within 30 days of surgery. So, good luck!
I can appreciate the asymmetry from your pictures. It would be best to review your before pictures for comparison. Options include removing fat from the larger side and or placing more fat in the smaller side. Please discuss with your plastic surgeon.
Yes, swelling in the tissue around the vagina is expected after liposuction of the lower abdomen for fat harvest. This will resolve over the next few weeks. Best of luck and congratulations on your procedure!
Thank you for your question. There is no such thing as "fluffing" after a BBL. The buttock area may be hard initially after the surgery, but when swelling subsides, it becomes softer. As the swelling decreases, areas around the waist often appear smaller, and some of the fat grafted in the...
If you want to have 1400cc on each buttock, you need to do it 2 stages. When you get the fat grafting in the buttocks, there is a point where the skin will not stretch more, and the tissues are under too much tension, decresing the blood supply to the grafted fat, and then the fat has less...
It really depends on how things go after the procedure but 8 weeks (2 months) seems like it could be reasonable. Its best to ask your own surgeon as they will know all the ins and outs of your health and exactly what they plan to do surgically. Best of luck!
In most cases, you should be 18. I would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well as before and after photos on that surgeon's...
