Using Acne Cream Containing Benzoyl Peroxide On The Nose After Rhinoplasty?

Hello and thank you for your question. I would first like to suggest that you at least call your doctor and ask his/her opinion even if you don't have an appointment scheduled. Doctors or their staff should always be available to answer questions for their patients. I always tell my patients that they can use an astringent placed on a makeup removal pad and gently wipe the nose with it. The skin of the nose can become very oily after surgery. Please understand that without seeing you I can not diagnose you or provide recommendations for your specific situation. But based on what I am hearing from you I am telling you what I do with my patients when their nasal skin becomes very oily after rhinoplasty. Best of luck to you
