I can never truly put into words the gratitude I feel for DR Zachary Farhood. He didn’t just perform a rhinoplasty—he gave me my life back. I will forever remember what he did for me, not only with his extraordinary skill but with the genuine care and respect he showed me as a human being. Before my surgery, I never realized how important it is just to breathe freely. But thanks to DR Zachary Farhood. I now know what it means to live without that struggle. Breathing easily is something many take for granted, but for me, it has been a life-changing gift. His professionalism, dedication, and kindness are beyond anything I could have hoped for. I will carry this gratitude with me for the rest of my life. If you are looking for a surgeon who truly cares about his patients and changes lives, look no further. He is simply the best
Dr Farhood was beyond expectation from the start. From the first meeting I felt like he was very knowledgeable and professional, but the things that set him apart were that he was also approachable and down to earth. I had a lot going on with the cartilage in my nose and a deviated septum. Going into the day of the surgery, I felt I was in good hands. Waking up from surgery, Dr Farhood was one of the first people I saw. I learned there was a bit more (on top of a lot already) going on in my nose and Dr Farhood took the time to take care of everything that was needed. During my recovery Dr Farhood and his team were incredibly responsive, getting back to me within an hour each time I needed anything, that really impressed me and made me feel cared for. At the end of it all, I can breathe better, and my nose looks better, than I can ever remember! I had an amazing experience with Dr. Farhood. I had been to doctors regarding my deviated septum and was turned down for help every time. Dr. Farhood was responsive and made me feel so comfortable about my surgery. He was thoughtful, thorough and had a professional yet personable personality. I’m almost one year post-op and my nose looks great and I can breathe more comfortably than ever. I would recommend him 10/10 times. I only have good things to say about my experience with Dr. Farhood and Midwest ENT.
The finished result of my upper eyelid lift and temporal brow lift was amazing! Dr. Farhood’s expertise with correcting my very droopy eyelids took years off my look. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Farhood for facial plastic surgery.
I was seen by Dr. Farhood for a Septo-Rhinoplasty due to an incident I had from my childhood that hindered my breathing. I am beyond appreciative as he gave me back things I did not know I was missing - I am no longer breathing through my mouth and am sleeping through the night without continuously waking up, exercising and deep inhalations aren’t a struggle anymore and lastly, fixing the deviation in my nose that bothered me. I had a good nose to begin with but Dr. Farhood made it better and I’m eternally grateful for him. The consultative process and post-op visits were seamless, he was great to work with, listened to my questions/concerns, made me feel comfortable, is extremely caring and always had the biggest smile on his face whenever I saw him. I can’t rave enough about him and would highly recommend him for anyone looking to have a procedure done.As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway.
Dr. Farhood has been so attentive since I came for my consultation back in 2022 and now one year post op I absolutely LOVE my new nose. I find my face more balanced and now I can finally breathe. When I went first for a consultation I was also advised that a chin implant will help my face be sharper and more defined. I completely agree and that has helped so much. The difference is big yet subtle and I can honestly say I live a much happier life without worrying about breathing or a picture taken on my bad side. I completely recommend Dr.Farhood. Life changing results that you won’t regret.
Dr. Farhood is an artist! He is an amazing surgeon and has a very caring and kind manner. I had blepharoplasty, lateral brow lift and ptosis repair on one lid. The results were truly amazing- subtle yet perfect. The results exceeded my expectations. The surgery center staff nurses and doctors were some of the best! As a former surgical/trauma ICU nurse I was extremely impressed with my pre and post op care. I would definitely put my care in Dr. Farhood and his teams hands again!
Yes, one of the main reasons for a rhinoplasty is to fix a drooping tip. This is usually done by supporting the tip with cartilage grafting and reshaping with with sutures and careful modification of the tip cartilages.
Start with masseter botox to slim the outermost part of your jaw. It's easier, reversible, and may give you the result you're looking for. Would not recommend a facelift at this point,
Buccal fat removal would be an option for you to reduce that fullness, especially if you have always had fuller cheeks. That is relatively simple procedure that can be performed in office while awake. Filler to the prejowl sulcus is also a reasonable option to camouflage the area.
The answer varies depending several factors, mostly intrinsic to the patient. Some have more laxity than others. I never recommend a skin-only facelift as results seldom last longer than 1 year and often result in significant scarring. This technique is over 100 years old and was replaced in the 1970s by SMAS-lifting. Today, the most modern and powerful technique is a deep plane facelift as we know now that skin excision is not the major factor in rejuvenating the face but rather repositioning of the deeper soft tissue structures beneath,
In general, gliding brow lifts are weaker than other forms of brow lifting but ultimately it depends on the surgeon's skill with each technique. The most powerful browlift is a trichophytic (hairline style) approach as the brow is able to be release and skin is able to be excised. That being said, an endoscopic brow lift can have comparable results in the right hands. Ultimately it depends on your anatomy, goals, and your surgeon's evaluation.
