3 weeks post FUE, can I let shower head stream hit inplanted area now? What kind of shampoo can I use now? (photo)

I'm 24 days post FUE in frontal area implant. First 2 weeks was told not to let shower stream hit my head as I could loose grafts. Is it safe to now take regular showers with shower stream hitting my head as crust is all gone? What kind of shampoo should I use now since the one they gave me is finished? Is baby shampoo recommended? Thanks

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.   After three weeks you can shower (wash your hair) normally.

By now your grafts are well rooted in the recipient area so you should be fine to shower and gently massage the top of your head. I usually recommend higher quality sulfate free shampoos as they won't  contribute to drying out your skin as much.

At this point the grafts are securely incorporated into the scalp and pressurized showering will not injure them.Organic shampoos are nice to use but really anything will suffice.Please check with your surgeon regarding hair washing instructions.

you can start to your normal life and do everything, including every kind of activity, smoking, close contact sports so on. You may wash your head just like before operation how often and which shampoo you use.

At this point you can shower normally with whatever shampoo you usually use. Unless your surgeon has said otherwise there shouldn't be any issue with hair products in general.
