If you are having issues after surgery, especially with "pain" you should contact your doctor.There is no way to tell what the lump is without an exam.

Transplanted hairs fall out in a few weeks.  New hairs will grow out in 6 to 12 months.  You may see some growth at 3 to 4 month.  Some of the photos look like grafts.
