You have a lot of thickness to the nose including thick skin. The bridge appears a bit washed out and low. So rhinoplasty would involve a graft to the bridge to build it up some, while the tip is narrowed and better supported. There will always be some width to the nose, but in the hands of a rhinoplasty specialist, there should be a nice improvement.
Dear Champagnew, Thankyou for providing pictures as a reference. In my professional opinion, everybody has different facial features and according to your pictures you have a thick skin, therefore you need to set realistic expectations in terms of reduction, your nose can be reduced as much as your tissues will allow that to do so. Your nose can be slimmed down and tip and nostrils can also be reduced using the closed atraumatic rhinoplasty procedure in which fat tissue removal can give you a more defined nose tip along with wing surgery to bring your nose in from the front.. Additionally, you will need some preparations for your skin to improve the quality pre-surgery uch as fractional CO2 laser treatment. .I am attaching a link for before and after of this procedure if you would like to look deeper into this surgery. Best Regards, TAS TEAM
Thank you for your question and photo. While it’s difficult to outline the benefits without knowing your specific aesthetic goals, rhinoplasty is an ideal choice if you’re interested in changing the size, shape, and symmetry of your nose. It is important to note that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex plastic surgeries, requiring skill, experience, and artistry to produce the best possible result. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to go over your desired cosmetic changes with you and suggest the best approach.
I thinnk you need rhinoplasty because your nose will be better if it is narrower and defined.Additionally your dorsal nasal area should be little bit higher.
Rhinoplasty is tailored to your specific desires and requires a three dimensional evaluation of the nose. A frontal view alone would not allow us to completely assess the shape of the nose. Based on your limited photographs, the nasal bridge and nostrils appear wide, and the tip appears bulbous. The nasal bridge can be narrowed by breaking the bones and/or adding to the bridge (a photo from the side can help answer that question). The nostrils can be made smaller by removing a portion from the side and/or inner part of the nostril (a photo from underneath is needed to see the nostril size and shape). The tip can be refined by altering the cartilage underneath. I would recommend considering what about your nose bothers you the most and to see a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience in rhinoplasty.
Hello. With a single picture it is not possible to define your right procedure for your case. Try adding some side pictures, and book a virtual consultation with your doctor. The use of computer simulations will let you have an idea of your rhinoplasty result.
A full set of pictures from all angles would be more helpful, since the nose is a three-dimensional structure. From the one limited photograph, osteotomy's would be required to narrow your bony bridge line, nasal tip surgery is required to narrow the nasal tip cartilages, and an alar-plasty is required to narrow wide nostrils.
Every nose is different and unique to that individual. If the appearance of your nose concerns you enough to do something about it, it can be improved with a natural artistically performed rhinoplasty. What would be the best option and exact procedure would depend on an in person examination (not just an online consultation) and discussion about desired outcome. Excellent results can be achieved with either a closed or open technique.Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do and how technically to do it based on limited photos without examining you, physically feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. Natural appearing results need to be individualized and what is appropriate for one patient is not necessarily the best for someone else. I would suggest that you find a surgeon with extensive rhinoplasty experience certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, M.D., FACSLa Jolla, California

Hi and welcome to our forum! From your frontal view photo, I note that your nose appears relatively midline, the nasal base is wide, there is slight nostril flare, there is loss of nasal tip definition, and you appear to have relatively thick skin. Without a lateral view, I cannot determine nasal height or ascertain if there is nasal tip droop. A rhinoplasty will narrow the nasal base. Alar base excisions will eliminate the flare. Cartilage excisions from the nasal tip will add definition. Although skin thickness may somewhat limit the result, most thick skinned individuals still feel the procedure was worthwhile.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
Hello! thank you for your question. It would be better to talk to your doctor, but you can have your wisdom tooth removed at any time. Best Regards!
Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note significant columellar retraction. It is important to know how long it has been since your procedure as one may initially overcorrect tip droop slightly to allow for a degree of recurrence. If it has been over 12 months since your procedure,...
Thank you for your question and photos. Though much of the swelling is reduced within four months, your nose will be in a phase of recovery for at least one year following your rhinoplasty procedure. It is generally suggested to wait until this entire recovery process is complete to see the...
