Hello! thank you for your question. It would be better to talk to your doctor, but you can have your wisdom tooth removed at any time.Best Regards!
If possible, at least 3 months after the risk of infection has disappeared. But better after 6 months. Be sure to consult your doctor about this and make sure your blood tests are within normal values.
You can get your wisdom teeth removed a couple of days after your rhinoplasty surgery. Your dentist will be aware of your recent surgery and will be careful with your nose.
I like 3 months in between surgeries... and wisdom teeth extraction is a surgery. The body needs to recover and I think you'll feel better separating the procedures. Best Wishes!!
There is no time limit. You could have the wisdom teeth removed the next day, whether it is done under a Local or General Anesthetic.I , not uncommonly, have an Oral Surgeon remove Wisdom teeth during the same operation, under the same General Anesthetic that I am doing some combination of Rhinoplasty, Septoplasty, sinus surgery, Tonsillectomy or palato-pharyngo-plasty.
If you can, have the wisdom teeth addressed first. My thought process is as follows. The act of taking the wisdom teeth out would not interfere with your rhinoplasty from a surgical perspective, but there is a remote chance that the oral surgeon has difficulties with your airway, even temporarily, and has to use positive pressure with a bag over your mouth and nose to deliver oxygen. This can put enough pressure on your nose to shift the healing tissues. I know this situation is unlikely, but the chance is not zero, so if you can avoid it, please do. The longer you can wait after your rhinoplasty, if the nose HAS to come first, the better.
I doubt that your Retracted columella will improve spontaneously. I can see what you don't like, but be reassured that your columellar retraction will be barely noticeable to others, as it's not very cool to look up other people's noses.
Thank you for your question and photos. Though much of the swelling is reduced within four months, your nose will be in a phase of recovery for at least one year following your rhinoplasty procedure. It is generally suggested to wait until this entire recovery process is complete to see the...
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand your question. It is not possible to make such an assessment. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best regards! .
Stents are often utilized in nasal surgery to provide support and aid in correct healing. Internal nasal splints/stents are used by many surgeons, however they are not used by everyone. Furthermore, there use is situationally dependent. The best way to know if there is any material in your nasal...
Hello, It appears that there is still minimal residual bony bump. This can be fixed with revision surgery limited to the dorsal of your nose. Another option is to have filler injection around the bump to make it look straighter.
