Thank you for your question and photographs. There seems to the exposed rib cartilage in your left nostril. The main concern in a situation like this is the possibility of an infection. Protected, the cartilage can allow the skin to heal over it and seal the exposed area. You should discuss this with your surgeon the current problem and get their help to address it. Delaying action is not a good idea in a situation like this.
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand your question. It is not possible to make such an assessment. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best regards! .
That's a really difficult answer to give based on that picture. I know those close-up pictures are challenging.Definitely see your surgeon for their evaluation as they know your nose best and can tell you definitively in a matter of minutes.
It is exposed cartilage that if you had rib inserted, it likely is that. The important question is whether that rib if donor banked rib or is it your rib harvested and used. The management may need to be more aggressive if this is banked cartilage. Best Wishes!!
It would be difficult to know exactly what is going on without an examination and knowing the exact details of your surgery. Based on your photographs, there appears that the mucosal closure has separated, and there is a hard scab on the wound. It is difficult to tell what is underneath the scab, and it can be exposed cartilage. I would recommend seeing your surgeon with your concerns for a complete evaluation.
Without some background on your previous surgery there’s no way to know from the photos. It could be exposed cartilage graft. You should go back to your surgeon
If you have had a rib cartilage graft Rhinoplasty, then it probably is exposed rib cartilage. This is a very difficult problem to fix, as it probably needs that graft to be removed, and it is not straightforward to repair the defect.
Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note an ulceration of the nasal mucosa overlying the nasal septum demonstrating an overlying crust. There is no significant redness or wound discharge to suggest active infection. I do not see protruding cartilage (although it may not be well visualized in the photo...an in-person examination is required).I recommend that you make your physician aware of this healing delay, if you have not yet done so. Best wishes...

A supratip break gives definition to the tip of the nose and the creation of one may create a slight lift to the tip, or at least the illusion thereof. Therefore, that would be counter to what you seek with a tip that drops, particularly with smiling. You may want to consider Botox (or similar)...
Hello, It appears that there is still minimal residual bony bump. This can be fixed with revision surgery limited to the dorsal of your nose. Another option is to have filler injection around the bump to make it look straighter.
