White spot on left tip & nose tends to curve to the left, what should I do? (Photos)

I had a asian rhinoplasty with donor rib graft back in March of 2021. 6 months ago, I noticed there is a white spot on the tip of my nose and it becomes very apparent when I smile. I talked to my surgeon about it and he said that it’s normal due to the cartilage graft. But I do not like see how the tip of my nose turns white every time I smile. I have been too embarrassed to smile these days because of it. What can I do? The tip of the nose also curves to the left side.

Hello! Thanks for the photos. I see what you're talking about. This is caused by the graft being too prominent and putting pressure on the skin called blanching. The way to fix this is to decrease the size of the graft. Long-term, if the pressure stays, it could cause issues with the blood flow. The curvature also has to do with the graft. It could be warping. There are options to improve that at the same. I would seek consultation with another surgeon if you're still concerned. Hope this helps you!
