I am planning to get morpheus8 done to reduce my pores, tighten, and also target my jowl fat. Different needle penetration levels will be used. For the jowl it will be 3-4mm, which is supposed to target fat. My concern is will the fat in my cheeks be affected? I've read reviews where some people had this happen to them, or is it very unlikely and there is much more to their case?
Answer: Morpheus8 is great to melt unwanted fat and tighten skin for a more youthful look Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Does Morpheus 8 Melt Fat? The answer is yes, Morpheus 8 can fat. Appropriate settings for different parts of the face or body is key. It is very important that your practitioner be familiar with the anatomy and different thicknesses of the skin and be familiar with the proper settings for the different area's. When appropriate settings are used, Morpheus 8 will actually create volume from collagen production as opposed to unwanted fat or volume reduction.

Answer: Morpheus 8 melting fat in other areas Hello! This is a great question and one I’m sure many have. You are correct in stating that the deeper depths target fat. The clinician providing treatment will tailor the Morpheus machine’s settings to your individual needs. That is the great thing about Morpheus, the settings are adjusted to meet each patient’s needs. It is the clinician’s job to ask the patient what their areas of concern are and to treat them appropriately. If the settings are set to a deeper depth and used on the cheeks, cheek volume can be reduced. Be clear with your provider on the areas you would like to see fat reduction, skin tightening, and fine line reduction and you should be fine. Good luck!

Answer: This should not be a problem with an experienced Morpheus8 technician Hi! Your Morpheus8 provider should be skilled enough to adjust the settings according to your desired results. You are correct that for you need deeper penetration and higher energy to target the fat in your jowls. For the pores, you should speak to them about using a resurfacing tip. Lower frequency and penetration for the cheeks if you are worried about fat loss in that specific area. I hope this helps!
