I want to get morpheus 8 to tighten up the skin under my chin/on my neck, but I see so many claims that morpheus 8 has made people worse off than before. Some people claim that it "melted their fat" to the point that they look older and need filler. Some people claim that it gave them turkey neck. I am seeing these claims on this website and on facebook groups. Of course, some people do claim to have good outcomes. Whats the deal with this? Is it just a risk we have to take?
Answer: Morphues 8 Results Hello HAG85. The challenge with ALL radiofrequency devices, regardless of brand is that the candidates that want and need it most are better served with a lower face and neck lift. "Lifting" is very rare with radiofrequency, but that is the absolute outcome with a lower facelift and necklift. The outcome with radiofrequency would be mild tightening of the skin. In addition, results from radiofrequency procedures generally do not last very long. The ONLY patient that we recommend for radiofrequency (and we do not use it), are those that are relatively young (below 50), with mild neck or jaw laxity that are absolutely unwilling to undergo surgery AND also are willing to spend on radiofrequency every 6 months or less. If you fit into this category then perhaps it's worth looking into. We tell our patients to save up the time and $$ for a facelift as they get 10x the benefit and it lasts 10x as long. One final note. We often tell patients that radiofrequency exists in our market not because it works well, but rather because so many patients are afraid to go under the knife. They are willing to spend on procedures that many times do not work for them, because they want to have hope that there is an alternative to surgery. Best of luck.

Answer: Bad results from Morpheus8 Hello hag85, Morpheus8 in the hands of a trained professional who has experience will provide great results! With any microneedling radio frequency machine volume loss can be an unfortunate side effect if the provider is not trained properly on heat and depth settings on particular parts of the face and neck. When looking for an office to do Morpheus8 ask questions about the experience of the provider, their training and how long they have been performing the Morpheus8 procedure. Be an informed consumer. In our office, I do 10-15 Morpheus8 or SylfirmX treatments each week. I have 23 years of experience working only for physicians. I've been performing Microneedling Radio Frequency procedures since 2016, and I have had multiple trainings and re-certifications since then. These are the things that set our practice apart from some of our competitors. I have been able to deliver the results you are looking for year after year without volume loss. I think if you do your research and are selective with who provides your treatment that you will love the results of Morpheus8. Hope this helps! Good luck! Answer: Morpheus is not a replacement for surgery Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Morpheus 8 Results Thank you for your question. I think this issue comes down to picking the right treatment for the patient's problem. Sometimes, patients want to choose the least invasive option when they are looking for surgical result. If you have hanging skin, it may be time to consider a facelift. A frank discussion with your provider discussing expectations is crucial to getting great results. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
