I am a very athletic 35 yo woman that has come to experience sagging and asymmetry as you can see by my attached photo, I do prefer a more moderate profile implant look, however, given I will require a lift will an implant of 350 cc’s be possible?
Answer: Augmentation mastopexy Hello and thank you for your question. Is is not possible to determine possible implant size based on photographs alone. Choosing implant size is a complex decision based on specific measurements, skin quality and determination of adequate soft tissue coverage. I would recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with extensive experience in breast augmentation surgery. Good luck.

Answer: Breasts I would recommend an implant with a lift. The 350 cc implant is possible. You need soft tissue support, so I would also recommend use of Galaflex or any type of scaffold soft tissue support. You need a very experienced American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Implant selection It is possible that a 350cc implant would fit but the best way to determine the right implant is by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation. During this visit your surgeon will measure your breasts (different than bra sizing) and discuss your surgical goals with you. This information will be combined with her/his expertise and recommended implants can be given. Keep in mind that in addition to volume you will need to determine type, shape, and profile. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Size The 350 cc implant could probably be placed inside you, but will probably be too large for your frame and tissue. If you want to stay athletic, I would suggest going smaller, perhaps 200-250 cc's. I doubt you will support 350 cc's and keep a very active lifestyle.

Answer: Implant size Dear Fitish35, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements. Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match. Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
