Is there a good way to estimate the costs of facility fees, anesthesia, and surgery area?

I've been looking into abdomen lipo in NYC and trying to figure out approximate pricing, because I'd prefer to know that I'm close to affording surgery before I set up a consultation. A surgeon I'm considering has starting prices on his site, but they don't include facility fees, anesthesia fees, or upper ranges for the surgery itself, and for lipo, it doesn't specify area, which I would assume impacts the cost as well? Is there a good way to estimate these costs?

Final cost of your elective procedure should be given in a price quote at the finalization of your consultation visit. Even if your surgeon bills separately for facility and anesthesia, you should know what that number is prior to booking your procedure. At the end of my new patient consults, prospective surgical patients are given an "all inclusive" price quote. This includes Surgeon's fees, facility fees, anesthesia fees and office visit fees. This quote does exclude Rx medications and Lab fees (medical insurance can be used for Rx's and labs).

Once you have your consultation with your plastic surgeon, you will get an estimate that includes facility fee and anesthesia fee based on the amount of time you need specifically for your case. The more areas are suctioned, the more time is needed. That is why no one will give you fee for anesthesia or OR time without knowing how much time is needed for your case.

The fees for anesthesia and facility are largely based on time in surgery which will vary based on the procedure(s) performed.  The facility charges are often less for an accredited surgery center than for a hospital setting.  Your surgeon would need to first estimate the surgical time to be able to quote the other fees.

You should be able to call each facility and ask what their cosmetic surgical rates are.
Without knowing the time estimate for the procedure, you won’t be able to get a good estimate of what the cost will be.
I suggest having multiple in person, consultations with plastic surgeons in your community to get a quality assessment, better understanding of procedure options And getting cost estimates.
If a provider is quoting cost estimates and does not state clearly, if it includes or does not include facility and anesthesia fees, then call the office and confirm
