How to remove bags under mouth? (Photo)

Question

How can i permanently remove these two bags under my mouth on each side of the face? I have tried botox and fillers many years ago and that did nothing. Is there some surgery or something i can do to get it removed? The bumps are always there but gets more visible when i move my mouth.

Hello! What you are circling there is the beginning of deepened nasolabial folds and jowling. As we age skin and fat in the midface begins to sag. Surgically speaking, a facelift/necklift procedure typically addresses these issues. Nonsurgically, you may want to consider an ellacor treatment which is an FDA approved method of utilizing micro-coring technology to physically remove up to 8% of skin per treatment and tighten the midface. Hello; the area that you drew; corresponds to the lower inner edge of the Depressor muscle. The prominence of this muscle; it pulls the corners of the lips to downwards, causing for swelling in the zone that; it covers for and making the marionette lines visible. The most logical practice is; try to decrease for muscle volume; with repeated botox applications. If you suspect for fat accumulation; Hifu can be implemented on the same area. Surgical procedure; according to my point of view, it is the last option; since, it leaves a scar.

Your photographs are limited. However, it appears the corners of your mouth are slightly turned downward. You may benefit from a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This may help with the nasolabial folds as well.

Facial surgery is not permanent due to the aging process. Even if those areas are removed now, you will see them again later.  I would suggest starting with micro-needling with radiofrequency for now or consider a lift.
