I am a male with a thin upper lip not in balance with the lower lip, I would like to get lip filler in my upper lip to balance this out, now the problem is that I have braces and am planning to get bimax and rhinoplasty. Will lipfiller interfere with these procedures and will having braces be a problem? Thank you

It is difficult to increase the vertical height of the lip with filler itself, although it is possible depending on your anatomy. I would consider things such as the “lip flip” with neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport) or even a lip lift, which can be performed as a short in office procedure.
I would start with the botox on the upper lip on left side 1 unit. I dont think you need to consider surgery yet. you could also try outlining the upper vermilion border .
Swelling in the face can last months. This is particularly true around the eyes, nose, and mouth. It is unlikely that this is scarring or anything permanent. I would give it time before pursuing any other treatment, at least 6 months.
