Hello, thank you for your question. Implants move with gravity and when you lay down to sleep implants fall laterally (off to the sides). We always advise patients to wear a soft bra to help support implants. Speak to your plastic surgeon about your concerns.

From the photo your implants look fine. Lateral displacement is when the implants go far to the sides when laying on your back. Some movement within the pocket based on body position is expected and normal.

Just based on your one photo, you are fine. Breasts naturally do move to the sides when laying down.

Typically lateral displacement of a breast implant is diagnosed when the implants are widely spaced apart when lying down on your back. With lateral displacement cleavage is lost and there is a wide spacing between the 2 implants on the chest wall.

After one year I would expect that the degree of lateral displacement would become stable and not increase. However it is important that you follow the advice of your plastic surgeon.
