I thought photos were taken in office after your consultation? Seems weird to send them on an application before meeting. Does this mean you forgo in office photos? What's the point of both if you already have a consultation scheduled?

Answer: Photos Preoperative photos are typically taken in the office, however protocols may vary. If you have concerns I encourage you to discuss them with the surgeon. The photos we take in the office are with your arms down at your sides and include various angles.

Answer: Preoperative examination Dear fizzybelini1, every office has different procedures. Some ask their patients to send photos prior to examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
