If a patient has a fear of needles but wants Kybella, can it be injected through a cannula instead of all of the needle marks on the grid? So for example, only doing two injection points with a cannula? If so, will it be as effective as the traditional way?

Answer: Injecting with a Cannula Cannulas require a bit more force and may actually feel quite a bit more intense than needle injections. The treatment can be injected through a needle or cannula. Now you’ll just need to find a provider who is up for doing that. Personally I believe Liposuction is a far better treatment option. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
