I’m about to turn 50 and want to improve my double chin and jowls. I don’t want a neck lift or threads but have heard of Kybella and faceTite. Which one do you recommend or is there something else that is better for me? Ps. I don’t need a chiseled models neck, just a normal one...ha ha.
Answer: Chin liposuction Dear Hopeful5, Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella. Answer: Morpheus 8 Hi @Hopeful5! I highly recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting.

Answer: Lifting and lipolysis Hi, your double chin is in some part related to drooping and sagging of the lower part of your face so the best option for you is first working on lifting and tightening of these areas by RF devices (like FaceTite) and then starting Kybella sessions. Best regards, Dr. Sajjadian

Answer: Necklift and liposuction Unfortunately some of the minimally invasive techniques only provide excellent results with younger age patients and less skin laxity. Based on your photos I would recommend some posterior jawline liposuction and platsymaplasty, and/or platysmaplasty and a neck lift. There is a device called J plasma that can tighten the skin when done in conjunction with liposuction. However, the degree of tightening is still limited.
