Answer: INR level is too low. Will my procedure be cancelled due to this? Hello @Gregarious937858, thank you for your question. Every practice has different requirements for performing a surgical procedure. It is possible that your procedure could be cancelled or delayed if your INR level is too low. It is important to speak with your doctor and inform them of your current INR level, your doctor will be able to assess the risks associated with having a low INR level and make recommendations regarding the best course of action for your specific situation. Additionally, it may also be recommended that you follow a specific regimen before any surgery is performed in order to ensure that your INR levels remain in a safe range. Best wishes. Answer: INR levels You should contact your plastic surgeon today and review your blood test results with them as soon as possible so they can make a determination of what to do. The more time people have both in regards to making medical decisions and potential work ups the better. You may need an evaluation by a hematologist. Please ask your plastic surgeon. Hopefully you already had an in person consultation and have contact with your provider.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
