I’m a 27 year old man and 3 years ago I decided to get a bbl. A year after the surgery I had noticed that I almost solely gain weight in my bottom now and the size of it is starting to make me self consious. Do you think a bbl reduction is necessary or should I just focus on weight loss to reduce the size?

Answer: BBL reversal Thank you for posting your question here!My answer will be based on the limited information and pictures provided for a more personalized and detailed plan I would recommend consulting with your plastic surgeon in person.Losing weight will definitely decrease the size of your buttocks , that being said your proportions wont change much as you will likely lose weight everywhere , so if you are not happy with your proportions or if you are close to a healthy ideal weight then you might want to consider a reversal procedure. I hope this helps, Best of luck!

Answer: BBL results Really helpful to see copper before and after pictures. It looks like you have too much fat in the lateral aspect of your buttock. I generally do not graft in this area as part of a male BBL. In men I usually focus on the posterior aspect almost exclusively. Weight loss should be your first option, but there may be potential for improving the outcome simply based on the results we can’t really assess without seeing before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took Best, Mats Hagström MD
