Is Sculptra safe to fill in dimples on butt?

Sculptra can be used to fill in Buttock dimpling.  In this case ,because it is post BBL, no subcision is needed.  If the dimpling is due in part to cellulite, I will also subcise, my preferred method is with my Cellulaze laser, and then inject the Sculptra.

Smoothing out
dimples on the buttocks with Sculptra is an advanced procedure. To
get a beautiful and uniform result, the Sculptra must be properly
diluted and carefully placed. Otherwise, it could look lumpy and
uneven. Sculptra stimulates your body to produce the collagen that
will fill in dimples and if desired, create a rounder, fuller look to
your buttocks. The Sculptra microparticles dissolve as they are
replaced by the new collagen your body produces. Results can last up
to two years. Another option is to have a Cellfina treatment for
these dimples. This treatment actually cuts and releases the fibrous
bands that create the dimple. Once they are cut, the body fills in
the dimples with your own collagen with results proven to last at
least three years. Sometimes a combination of Cellfina and Sculptra
are necessary if the dimples are quite deep. Please find a
board-certified dermatologist who is expert at contouring and
smoothing the buttocks with Sculptra.  

Thank you for your question.  I do use Sculptra for patients who have some uneven fat loss from bbl procedures or dimples from steroid injections/previous trauma, or for patients who want to simply enhance their buttocks.  I would definitely visit with someone who has experience with Sculptra buttock injections.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Sculptra is an excellent option for treatment in the buttocks and lateral hips when a patient is not a candidate for fat transfer.  It will encourage your own tissues to develop collagen, smoothing out dimples and cellulite.  Injections are nearly painless and require a series of treatments over months, but with results that last up to 2 years it is a good option for many.  Hope this helps.

Yes, Sculptra is a good alternative to fill dimples in the buttock area. The best way to do that will be to do some subcision to help any adhesions in the dimpled area and then to inject some Sculptra. Sculptra is not permanent, and you will have to inject every 2 years or so.

Sculptra is a reasonable alternative to fat, and is better due to the fact that your best fat has already been harvested.

This is a very fast and effective way to improve dimples, and cellulite. Sculptra is easier than fat transfer because it is off the shelf and doesn't require the harvesting. Also, with fat transfer, the usual recommendations are to no sit on the buttocks for a month so as to maximize the take of the fat. There are no restrictions on activity when I perform the Sculptra Butt Lift. It might take more than one treatment. I would space it out by 6-8 weeks.
