Is it possible to go from a 38c to 38ddd or bigger? Will I need a lift after big implants? (photos)

I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. Hello, thank you for your question. We typically suggest the size based on your chest wall. Consider speaking to your plastic surgeons about your options. I would also suggest bringing in some wish pics. Check out our before and after gallery for more pics.

Your surgeon will recommend a range of sizes that may achieve your goal. It would be a good idea to bring in a bra in the size you’d like to be during your consultation, since cup sizes aren’t standardized.

Because your nipples are located below your breast fold and are pointing downward, a breast lift is recommended. This will reshape your breasts to make them perkier, giving you more cleavage as well.

Your breasts are very low on the chest wall. You will need a lift and the technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired.

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

You need a lift and should avoid large heavy implants which will just cause you to sag again. Stretched out sagging tissue never supports heavy weight, even after lifted. The 650 cc implants will be much too large and heavy for your tissue to support.
