Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You can safely do both procedures at one time and it is commonplace to do so, however, the safest and optimal approach is two-staged.
Great question. Breast lift and breast implant surgeries can safely be performed in a single procedure. There's always a risk of complications after every surgery. With that said, the risks are not higher than those of the two procedures performed separately. When these two procedures are combined, your breasts will increase in cup size and will also look perkier. Good luck.
Thanks for your inquiry, without pictures or measurements it is hard to advise in your particular situation, but i routinely perform implants and lifts together in the right conditions. In general, the less the nipple areolar complex needs to be lifted the more likely the procedure can be done in one step, best of luck.
Yes both procedures can be done in one sitting. You should see a plastic surgeon who will do a proper examination looking at quality of skin envelope, amount of breast tissues in different parts, degree of ptosis and need for nipple lift. He can discuss the option of doing both breast augmentation and mastopexy at the same time.

Many women who want to gain upper pole fullness think implants are the only way. There is an alternative technique called The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Both procedure are often performed together. This procedure is very common and when combined with a tummy tuck procedure, it is often referred to as a mommy makeover. There are many different types of lift that are available, depending on how much the nipple/areola needs to be lifted along with how much skin there is available.I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes in breast surgery as this procedure can be "tricky" and you would benefit in seeing someone who has a great deal of experience performing them together.Hope that helps.
Breast lift with implants can be one or two stages. To me it depends on how far the nipples need to be moved. If they only need to be raised three inches or less then one stage works fine. Anything over four inches it’s best to perform in two stages. At least that’s my criteria
Hello! Most plastic surgeons combine these procedures if you definitively would benefit from a lift and you are healthy. The combination is awesome in providing nice upper cleavage and lifting of a sagging breast. It is most efficient and economical to combine. If your surgeon thinks that you might be fine with augmentation alone - particularly if you are interested in a full, projected implant - a lift can always be done secondarily.Best of luck to you!
Dear Tasteful118633,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
100% need a breast lift. Good luck. You may benefit from a lift first and augmentation 4 months later dur to your grade of ptosis and asymmetry. Good Luck!
The peri-aerolar lift is more limited and provides much less breast shaping. If the nipple is slightly low and your shape is good, then this should work well.
Dear Elev8, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper...
