Is there a difference between fat necrosis and skin necrosis? Dr. states I'm draining "liquified fat" from my JP drain (Photo)

Question

tummy tuck incision is currently closed with no leakage. (3 wk PO TT/ MR & lipo of flanks.) The Dr. was able to Aspirate 2 syringes of fluid from the site where the JP drain was pulled. She was unsuccessful at aspirating any fluid from where the jp drain is currently still in place (left side) The aforementioned jp drainage has slowed down considerably after the aspiration, less than 20 cc's daily. What are my chances of the fat necrosis resolving on its own. will it lead to skin death?

If still concerned maybe see in interventional radiologist for a scan to see if fluid collection is present. Than under radiology they can drain and insert new indwelling drainage tubes...

I think that there is a difference between liquified fat and seroma . Generally speaking the seroma is more clear than the liquified fat. About the skin necrosis I don't see at this moment, just superficial in the upper área of the abdomen. In the lateral area it look more damage of the skin . Consult your doctor to take a look of the result at thi time.
