This is genetic and if you are veyr skinny you see this more often.  liposuction can be done to improve this area too.  I suggest seeing a body contouring expert.  Best, Dr. emer.

Based upon your photos, you exhibit normal and youthful facial features. The pre-jowl sulcus (valley) is a function of descent of the middle third volume over adherent zones of the face. At your age, there is little likelihood of descent or jowl development so as to accentuate a pre-jowl ridge....

For multiple areas of liposuction such as this, general anesthesia is very much needed especially if etching is being done (which it should be in order to obtain optimal results). General anesthesia is vital. Best, Dr. Emer
