I did cocaine for say a year over 5 years ago when I saw doctor for septoplasty he refused to do surgery, is this normal?

There is no disputing that chronic cocaine abuse can lead to septal perforation and ischemic necrosis of nasal supporting structures leading to collapse and higher risk of complications from surgery....this is largely due to the powerful/sustained vasoconstriction (loss of blood flow) caused by regular cocaine usage.... that said, your abstinence over 5 years is not only commendable, but certainly makes you worthy of at least an examination and consideration for surgeryGood luck...
