I just had cheek fillers done... 1ml intraline. The pictures are taking straight after the procedure. I might be a bit swollen. But I’d like to know whether or not it’s suppose to look like this? Or maybe it doesn’t suit my face? Its left me so confused! I don’t understand why it makes my face look sort of angular but awkward.Has it been over filled maybe? What can be done?Should I hyalase? Or leave it til it wears off? Especially if you take a look at my right side. It’s very upsetting :’(

Answer: Cheek Volume Immediately after injection is not the time to assess the look, due to the distortion caused by swelling. Once that goes down then overall symmetry can be assessed. There are certain proportions that the eye likes to see with respect to things like maximum width of the midface- there is an aesthetic (hand held) caliper that can be used to measure/determine if your proportions are correct for your facial anatomy- if they are "PHI/Golden Rule proportions". Answer: ? Filler Overfill Thank you for your question and submitting your photos. It is much too early to determine the end result of your fillers. You should wait a minimum of two weeks and then if you have a concern have your injector reassess your results. The more important question is what were you attempting to achieve with the filler injection to make sure that your concerns were being addressed.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
