I'm male, 36, over the last 3-4 years, I have experienced midface volume loss and midface descent, with significant undereye hollowing, purple-colored bulges of undereye fat, and slight nasolabial folding (I think I do not have enough facial volume for significant nasolabial folds yet). Different doctors have suggested to me to have 1) a midface lift, 2) filler, 3) undereye implants & possibly cheek implants, 4) blepharoplasty. I recently had filler treatment in Korea, but the doctor didn't seem to know what he was doing; he placed soft filler in my undereyes (the hollows are still there, unchanged), and put soft filler around the nasolabial fold itself, making it more severe by adding volume above it. I thought state of the art is to add volume to the upper midface to lift the nasolabial fold, but maybe they don't do that in Korea. Another doctor recommended hard filler placed directly on infraorbital and zygomatic, to lift the midface and make the undereye hollows go away, which honestly sounds like the better plan to me. Long term, I'd like a definite solution for this. So what would be the best solution short and long term here? Can I just get filler for now? Long term, blepharoplasty, midface lift, implants, a combination of two, or all three?
Had cheek liposuction about 2-3 years ago. Have always had chubby cheeks so the surgeon recommended cheek liposuction that really only went to my mid cheek (did not touch by buccal). Started noticing about 9 months ago a smile line on each side of my cheeks that really make whatever fat pad (if thats what it is) really pronounced and noticed the starting of jowls. What can I do to help this? Was looking into sculptra
I noticed for a little while I have these reddish things below my eyes, sometimes it is very noticeable and sometimes it isn't but I just learned that it could be a festoon or malar mound/bag - could someone please help and advise? I don't want them to get worse or have them in the first place lol - is it just from me not getting enough sleep?
Hi, Im 51 year old female. I was diagnosed with 3 years ago with chronic sinusitis and chronic Rhinitis and I also have a shrimp allergy. I stop taking steroids nose spray a year ago & started taking regular Claritin or ibuprofen on occasion. I recently went to a spa place and inquired about HA filler for mid cheekbones with a little structure contouring . Is it safe and okay to get an HA filler on Mid cheekbones for people with chronic rhinitis allergies and chronic sinusitis? I prepaid for Restylane Lyft because I was informed By their NP that HA filler is Safe for people with my condition. Thank you Chris
I would like to restore some volume in my face. My cheeks have lost volume and its the most visible on 3/4 view. Last winter I went to a plastic surgeon known in my city for facial contouring but she totally missed the mark. She filled the area above my cheekbones and my jaw for some reason, and that made things worse. She used radiesse but thankfully its not very visible now. Can the area in the pictures be filled again? Jaluronic acid or sculptra?
Hi, Ive posted here before about my situation. In 2023 aIposted about how I noticed my smile lines and under eye lines being pretty bad. HI have tried numerous treatments and although ive seen results near my eyes, I havent been able to get rid of the smile lines. I have done two rounds of radiesse (6 months apart) one time diluted all over cheeks, second time directly to upper cheeks not diluted. Ive gotten 3 rounds of PLLA under my eyes and one round by the cheeks. Ive gotten one round of PLLA to the smile lines directly, ive done half a syringe of Juvederm directly to the smile lines. Ive gotten two chemical peels and done two sessions of micrnoeedling. Im 25 and after everything I still see the smile lines. I do want to mention I struggle with smoking and want to know how much that affects my problem. I know its hard to tell from pictures alone but I am exhausted ,out of money ,and dont know what else to do to treat these.
Hello I have some concerns about my mid face , lower face ,eye lids and lower face (pre jowls?) Im 32 and I feel like Id benefit from some treatments Filler on my midface , maybe an upper blepharoplasty or maybe I can get way with botox .Not sure if I have enough skin I was told no and yes . Instead of fillers, I see young women are going for endoscopic midfacelift. Is this something Id benefit ? Would I see a difference? My mid face is not lifted as before , my under eyes they dont have the same volume and that made my mid face more flat . How do I now its time for fillers or endoscopic lifting ? I feel like endoscopic is for young patients like me but not everyone needs it . Id appreciate some help and feedback
Hi I had nasolabial folds filler and it looked unnatural. I had it disolved 8 weeks ago and Im am left with this indent and puffy fold at the side of my face. I have tried massaging it regularly but it wont go. It sticks out and is puffy and also I have an indent now. I have had cheek fillers but it has not helped. I hate my face now it has ruined my face. Please help and advise what I can have done to get rid of this. There is no filler left there, it is just a puffy fold with a indent at the side.
Hi Im 40 and have previously had mid face filler to target under eye appearance. Over 2 yrs ago. My injector whos highly regarded has Rec Sculptra now. I see my cheeks are very uneven - is one side still holding on to a ton of filler ? Voluma I believe. Should this be dissolved before i do anything new ? Im just looking for a little freshen up of my face.
